I started dancing when I was four years old and knew early on, that dance was going to be the path for me. At 14 I got into the foundation course 5 o’clock class at the Academy for Theatre and Dance, and stayed there for two years until I graduated from high school and auditioned for BA programs. I got accepted into the Dance in Education department at the Amsterdam University of the Arts. Within the past four years I have developed myself as a dancer, teacher, creator and trained my skills in the area of production and organization within the arts sector. 

I consider myself a bit of a "Jill of all trades". I don't limit myself to one specific style or art discipline. Besides dancing, I have a passion for drawing, painting, singing and acting. I enjoy playing with mixed media and interdisciplinarity in my creations. This often makes me and my creations quite peculiar. But this waywardness characterizes me and I like to use it for the better. I believe my interests in all kinds of art can help me as a dance professional. I love to draw, write or sing, to find inspiration for my dance pieces.
